Right next to the Japanese Garden at the Huntington Library is the Chinese Garden. This garden is more open and has a great view of the mountains. Also it has less flowers and the building in here is more of a central point because there is a tea/coffee place in there
Pavilion in typical Chinese style
I love the lake lines with white large rocks and benches all over for you to sit down and enjoy the sunset. I am hoping to go back in the summer so I can enjoy it with all the weeping trees full of their tiny leaves.
Weeping trees with small gazebo on the back and arch reflecting the afternoon sun
My favorite photos were those where I was able to catch the afternoon sun filtering through the intricate woodwork and screens that adorned windows, arches and and railings.
