I was born 34 years ago today the first day of Libra on the year of the Dragon... all of these just mean that today is my birthday and somehow it seems that is my real age. If you ask me I don't feel much older than 20 despite the back pain and the inability to recover from a night of party with a few hours of sleep.

As I think about it, I wonder if there is a way I should be feeling today and love what someone told me: "your feelings never get old". That one, I really liked. And I agree with it. In the same way there is no owner's manual that gives you living instructions, there is nothing that tells you the way you should feel at any age.

I have to say I've had a good time these past 34 years and can't complain at all about the things I've done no matter how good or bad they've been. I've been very lucky to have great parents that even when they haven't agreed with my decisions, they stood by my side unconditionally. 

As for the future, I am very positive because I know I've paid my karma quota (ha!) and because I believe the expression lines I found the other day mean that I'm "older and wiser". This "new year" I'd love to travel more being Europe, a much desired destination; I think a little love story to add to the blog stories would be quite fun; a new camera that helps me capture bigger and better moments; and most definitely a more fluid cash flow for those little luxuries I love so much.

For today, I want lots of phone calls and messages from all my loved ones, a good bottle of wine to go with my food, a little dance no matter where, and one good piece of good news.
