Hope all of you are enjoying you weekend and catching up on your sleep. On Sunday I will be participating for the second year on a great charity to raise fund for the Children's Craniofacial Association... that's what I've been working on these past few days (amongst other things) that got me caught up in a sort of political game with a person who was pushing all the volunteers away from the event. In the end they Chef in charge of our group had to step in and control her to bring everyone back.
Baking our cupcakes to frost them in chocolate buttercream... yum!
I was happy to see that you enjoyed all the images I posted during the week and hope this week is a bit mellower or at least there is no drama... the only drama I like is the Iron Chef on the last 5 minutes!
Here are this week's links:
Have a fantastic weekend and see you back on Monday!
What a great cause! enjoy your weekend ;)
ReplyDeleteKudos to you for helping out! I can't believe that someone would be turning volunteers away because of some squabble. Wish everyone could see the bigger picture!

Good for you for always volunteering! And non profits can sometimes be the worst with controlling.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful cause, although understandably stressful. It's almost done!
ReplyDeletemmm... wish I could buy one of those cupcakes!
ReplyDeleteI am always so inspired by your good works. And seriously, I think the most controlling people work for non profits. Some kind of martyrdom thing or something. Have an awesome weekend!
