When I was in Costa Rica during the holidays one day the whole family went to the countryside house of my sister in law's parents. The house sits on a large piece of land surrounded by coffee and sugar cane plantations.
One or my favorite things was the stables where they keep the horses. I've always loved horses and as a kid I wanted to be in professional horseback riding competitions (amongst many other professions!) and always looked for places and people to go horseback riding with.
While walking around the property I stopped by their stables and took some images that I love because of the rustic contrast they create with the stuff I have been posting over the past few days.
Have a nice day and hope your first 2011 week is going well so far!
Ooh I bet it was lovely! My little one is still gun shy about riding since her accident a few months ago, so no shows for us for a while. We're encouraging her because she loves it so, I'd hate for her to give it up and have regrets later. She's gone a few times, but that last time, she burst into tears while riding. So between that and the snow, we're taking a break, and hoping the spring will bring a fresh start for her.
