One of the nicest things about going to the countryside is the natural beauty that surrounds you. In Costa Rica when you leave the craziness of the city you see the coffee plantations that dissapear in the horizon and all kinds of vegetation rolling down the hills.
As you can imagine I was immensely entertained taking pictures of the beautiful flowers and plants that surrounded the house we were visiting. I was in a way jealous of how available such beautiful things were to everyone and how much pride they took in taking care of their plants.
Do you ever get to leave your city and explore the great outdoors? or, do you live in the countryside and get your dose of city craziness from time to time?
Have a lovely Wednesday and take some time to breath the air!
Wow, those pictures are beautiful! Love the barb-wire and post, very rustic.

I'm always a bit in awe of people who can grow beautiful and even exotic plants, I've never been very good with them. I live in the city but my parents live a few hours north of us and we get to drive up and visit them often - good for the soul.
ReplyDeleteReally lovely images! I love the flowers and the post with the wire side by side. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI can just smell the fresh air from Norway:)

Hi there-very inspirational and lovely pictures, thanks for stopping by too!
ReplyDeleteI get to escape the city to my parents house in the Tennesee country and I have to say, there is no better relaxation I have discovered. The green, the fresh & the breeze are all my soul needs sometimes. I would love to tour a coffee plantation someday!
ReplyDeletebeautiful pictures once again. I love going outdoors often to recharge the batteries. I would go more often back in brazil. here is so cold that sometimes just a drive around the mountains makes me feel better!
ReplyDeletei grew up in the country in tennessee, wisconsin and maine. then i became an adult and moved to california where i became a total city girl. i still greatly miss the country sometimes. luckily i married a country-loving boy and we try to get out into the wild as much as we can. it does so much good for the soul!
ReplyDeletewonderful! I feel the scent...
