Sweet Job

To end all my stories about this year's festival I have to finish with the desert... ha! I got to meet the man responsible for creating the concepts for Godiva Chocolates: David Funaro.

I actually got to talk to him twice at two different events and was amazed at what he gets to do. One of the events I saw him at was a wine and chocolate pairing {flickr images}... to me that was just genius! He presented along with a sommelier {her name is Andrea Robinson} a selection of wines and chocolates that ranged from really bitter to sweet and even some with raspberry flavors.

David has developed and opened Godiva stores all over the world. He told me that currently they are focusing on international markets and expanding the brand... I guess he is just living "La Dolce Vita"
