I've always loved W hotels for many reasons... 1 - Because it's a boutique hotel with the great service of a chain brand. 2 - I got to meet one of the creators for the brand and happy to say it was an amazing woman called Theresa Fatino. 3 - All the hotels have some of the best and most innovative designs out there {all images from HERE}.
At the W Taipei the London based architecture firm G.A. Design International were in charge of creating an urban retreat that at the same time had a sense of place and integrated the city's personality into it. The categories of the guestrooms include names like 'Fabulous', 'Fantastic', 'Marvelous', and 'Wonderful'.
The hotels counts with many restaurants and lounges that offer guests of international cuisines mixed together with breathtaking views of the city.
If you've ever stayed at one of these hotels you know what "the Heavenly Bed" means because these hotels feature the most comfortable beds out there. The rooms of this hotel have serene environments with clean lines and warm colors which make the experience even more relaxing.
Have a great day and thank God the hurricane won't hit us...
but for those of you in the path I wish you the very best!!!

ReplyDeleteWow these hotels ARE gorgeous! There are a couple W hotels by my apartment and I never paid much attention to them. On the outside, they seem so generic. Now I'm super curious to go inside and check them out! :D

ReplyDeleteHello there, and thank you for visiting!
ReplyDeleteSitting here in rural Norway, watching these rooms, is quite surreal! Thinking: Oh, when will I ever? (Probably never :) I wouldn't mind one night in a Heavenly bed, especially not with that view.
'Hurricane' is just a word here, but it's scary enough to try to imagine the impact it has. Good you are out of reach!
All the best
Lilli
Gah! What a gorgeous hotel - I want to live there! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, so amazing! Glad the hurricane wont be hitting you! xo
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! I am Taiwanese actually...and my dad went back earlier this summer to visit his side of the family and they all went to W for tea. It is beautiful and I haven't been to Taiwan in over 20 years! I'd love to go some day and would stay at the W. I am a starwood loyalist, in my consulting days I always stayed at Starwood and was a platinum member! Sigh... I miss those days!
ReplyDeletegorgeous! the W hotels always bring and extra something through their interesting decor and architectural details.
ReplyDeleteThere's some great inspirational ideas there!
