Another postcard I received for my birthday was from Emily all the way from Ottawa. I've never been in Canada and this city is definitely going on my list of places to go as soon as I go there one of these days.
Her blog is called The Best of this Life and she is a girl dreaming and enjoying the days of being a
stay at home mom. The blog is all about the best of this life, the things
that fill her days with happiness, inspiration, discovery and gluten-free eating!
Because of Emily I got curious and started looking at some things about the city and loved what I saw. Like the change of guard at Parliament Hill which is a great tradition throughout the summer season {the post card is an image of the Parliament Buildings}
I wish I could visit these days because the Fall season is in full bloom and Gatineau Park is a place where people go to enjoy of the great outdoors, cycling and the park is home to Mackenzie King Estate, the beautiful country home of
Canada's 10th Prime Minister, William Lyon Mckenzie King.
The city also is quite fashionably with an amazing array of designer who just showed their latest collections at Ottawa Fashion Week. Check out their BLOG to see their amazing designs... Very unique!!!
Have a great Tuesday and enjoy some traveling from wherever you are!
