Last week things got a bit crazy as I delivered my last project of my Masters... So happy to be done with it!!! on top of that I had to get my house decorated and get ready for my trip to DC to see my sister...
My palette for my tree for the past few years has been silver with a deep shade of pink. I usually use ball ornaments in different sizes and textures and then I add other things like candy canes or a fancy ornament I buy different every year.
Last year I bought glass figurines in the shape of Santa, Snowman and Reindeer, and this year long silver ornaments that look like icicles shiny and frosted.
The most challenging was the Advent Calendar because my original idea didn't work as planned so I had to improvise and come up with something new. What I did was use a satin red cord and it to red tack on the wall, the from the line I hung traditional candy cane and pasted on each one the 24 days until Christmas... I ended up really linking the result and thought I'd leave it like that 'til then {will enjoy the candy cane for many more days to come!}
I apologize for the quality of the images... I was running like a chicken without a head the whole Friday and didn't even had time for my "Friday links".
Have a great week!!!
