One of the things I've always wanted to do, in food terms, is to go to have good meal at Momofuku at the same time as David Chang chats with me about what is going on with food today. On this trip that meal was not possible but my sister took me to Momofuku Milk Bar in Brooklyn.
The menu hee is small as they are considered more a bakery than a restaurant and has no actual seating area, but the food is delicious. The cookies are to die for and we were happy that they had only 2 of the birthday cake truffles, if not we would taken all of them away with us.
The menu is very creative as they incorporate pretzels and cereals into shakes or make this amazing bagel type buns with the most flavorful fillings.
Another really cool thing about this place is that they give local artists the opportunity to showcase their art for people to get to know them and buy it... If you are in NY it's definitely worth coming here because after you load up on all the goodies they sell you can go an walk around Williamburg.
Have a great day and enjoy!
Mmmm... Will have to visit for the food alone! Though I do like the interiors too, that would make it two good reasons to visit then ;-)
