I'm sure we all need a little bit and since the forecast is calling for showers over the weekend I know I'll be very much in the mood to relax and make it to the movie to see Moonrise Kingdom {love Wes Anderson!}. Also, I'll be planning a trip to NY, which is getting a bit pricey because hotels are crazy expensive... Crazy!
Here are this week's links:
Have a fantastic weekend my friends!

ReplyDeleteSad about Donna Summer - she was a great artist. :-(
ReplyDeleteI hope you get your relaxation this weekend. I'm headed to the beach so I certainly plan to get some.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to rest, I really need some too!! Have a wonderful weekend :) xx
ReplyDeleteThat is very sad about Donna Summer.
ReplyDeleteThere's a blog called Hotel Chatter and they were talking recently about a new hotel that opened in Manhattan(similar to Ace) at about $150ish a night. I can't remember the name right now but it was within the last month or two. Still not cheap for someplace you are just going to sleep but relatively cheap for the city. I'm very lucky to have family in the area.
Have a great weekend!
sad about it...

There are some hotels in NYC that have smaller rooms with twin beds - still really clean and modern - but a lot cheaper. I haven't checked them out yet but I'll report back once I do!
