Vacation Friday

Today is officially the last Friday before I start working full time again. Somehow it hasn't hit me yet that after 14 months of looking for work {more if you count the time i looked for something while I was in school} I got not just a job but one I'm actually excited about. So, it's sort of the end of a veeeeery long time off and time for this girl to start playing the grown ups game again!


Also, thins weekend is the end of the Olympics which makes me really sad because I thoroughly enjoyed them. I amazes me each and every time how much we can do with our bodies and minds when we put them to good use... once again, it's all about following your dreams!

    Congratulations on getting a job you are excited for!!! What kind of design will you be doing? I'd love to hear.

    I heard about the guy who got hacked on the radio. It really stinks that someone would go to all that trouble to do that. I try to back things up regularly but it still would be a major pain to restore everything back to where it was.

      Whoops, I just caught up and saw you were doing hospitality design. When I worked in a hospitality design firm people rarely dressed well - maybe because it was in someone's house? Now that I'm doing corporate design work there is no dress code unless you are meeting clients, it's pretty nice. :)
